HALSETOWN boy, farmer & horseman, Vaughan Bennett writes and performs his folk songs in a traditional style. He tells stories that encapsulate rural life in West Cornwall, it's history, it's legends and above all its characters, sometimes fictional, sometimes based on real folk.
ABOUT VAUGHAN
Vaughan was an early arrival on the emerging St Ives singer/songwriter scene of the late 1990s which has grown into something of a boom today.
A contemporary singer/songwriter in the traditional style who essentially follows the methodology of the late, great Ewan MacColl, Vaughan Bennett is an authentic voice of the Cornish People.
